The West Coast with its unique geographical features and sunny climate is rapidly becoming a much sought after holiday and tourist destination for the discerning traveller. A coastline with rugged headlands, bays and unspoilt beaches, interspersed with charming little fishing villages, wine estates, historical towns, game and nature reserves as well as the West Coast Fossil Park. There are whale, dolphin, penguin or seal viewing trips available and fishing charters as well as pleasure cruises. During springtime the whole area is blanketed with the world famous Namaqualand wild flowers. For sport lovers there are three golf courses nearby, also horse riding stables and fascinating hiking trails. The bay is perfect for all water sports.
